On-loan Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic is expected to return from injury after the international break sources close to the club told Turkish-football.com.

The Serbian international missed the Yellow Canaries last two games with injury. Markovic also suffered an injury that saw him ruled out for a fortnight last month.

When he has been fit Markovic has featured regularly in the Fenerbahçe first team in his preferred role as a winger.

Markovic left Liverpool on a temporary move after failing to settle in to Brendan Rodgers system. The 21-year-old was played out of position as a wing-back and struggled to adapt to being played out of position.

The Serbian international has one assist in seven appearances in all competitions for the Istanbul giants this season.

Fenerbahçe are currently in second place just two points behind league leaders Beşiktaş and three ahead of bitter rivals Galatasaray who are in third.
