Oscar Cardozo set to become latest star to join China following Shandong Lueng move

Trabzonspor striker Oscar Cardozo has become the latest player to be snapped up by the Chinese Super League.

The Fanatik newspaper report that Shandong Lueng have signed the Paraguayan international for a €5.5 million transfer fee.

The experienced striker will become the second Trabzonspor player and the fourth Turkish Super League player to join the Chinese league should the deal go ahead.

Stepehane Mbia joined Hebei China Fortune over the summer while Ersan Gulum was snapped up by the same club last month.

Besktas striker Demba Ba joined Shanghai Shenhua and Galatasaray star Burak Yilmaz became the latest player to join the exodus to China after he was snapped up by Beijing Guaong.

The Paraguayan international joined Trabzonspor from Benfica on a €5 million move in the summer of 2014 on a three-year deal.

The experienced striker earns €2.5 million per season and still has another two-years remaining on his deal.
