Bursaspor midfielder Ozan Tufan could join Manchester United in the near future according to former Kasımpaşa manager Shota Arveladze.
“Ozan Tufan could join Manchester United within a short space of time, I know a number of European footballs biggest clubs are keeping close tabs on him,” Arveladze told Fanatik.
The Georgian manager also stated that Tufan is currently his favourite play in the Süper Lig.
“Ozan is my favourite player in Turkey right now, he has huge potential and is already a quality player,” he added.
“He is well suited to the modern game, he is good on the ball, intelligent off the ball, attacks, defends, passes, tackles, he does it all.”
Tufan’s father recently confirmed that scouts from Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, AC Milan and Juventus have sent scouts to keep close tabs on his son.
“Other big European teams have sent scouts to watch Ozan play…AC Milan, Juventus, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs, City and United,” Mehmet Tufan told Spanish newspaper AS.
The Turkish international youngster has revealed that he wants to play in the Premier League.
“The Premier League is my favourite league, I have always wanted to play there, it is my childhood dream,” Tufan told Bursaspor TV.
The 20-year-old has established himself as a first team regular for the Green Crocodiles and has already broke into the senior Turkish national side.
