Ozan Tufan could play in England or Germany says Irfan Buz [divider]
Bursaspor midfielder Ozan Tufan could play in any league in the world according to Gençlerbirliği manager İrfan Buz.
“Ozan Tufan could easily play in any top-tier league, he could easily play in England and Germany,” Buz said.
“He definitely has the ability, Ozan would not end up like Salih Uçan.”
Buz convinced former Bursaspor manager Christoph Daum to play Tufan in the senior team when he was the German head coach’s assistant.
“I convinced Cristoph Daum to give Ozan a change in the senior team when I was assistant manager at Bursaspor,” Buz said.
“When I was appointed head coach I played him for eight games, I have always had faith in him.”
Tufan has been closely linked with Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş but recently revealed that he wants to play for Liverpool.
“I want to succeed at Bursaspor but career wise my dream is to play for Liverpool,” Tufan said.
Tufan has two goals and two assists in 18 appearances for Bursaspor this season.
