Ozan Tufan – ‘My dream is to play for Liverpool’ [divider]
Bursaspor midfielder Ozan Tufan has revealed that his dream is to play for Liverpool.
“I want to succeed at Bursaspor but career wise my dream is to play for Liverpool,” Tufan said.
“I always wanted to play for the national team and Bursaspor first-team but did not expect to get into both sides at the age of 19.
“The goal I scored against Denmark made people notice me, Arda Turan told me to shoot, I went for it and it paid off.
“Playing for the national team was a huge confidence boost.”
Tufan revealed that he prefers playing in midfield but if needed he can play at right-back.
“I have played as right-back for the national team but I feel more comfortable in midfield,” Tufan said.
“But if need I can play at right-back.”
The 19-year-old midfielder has established himself as a first team regular for Bursaspor.
Tufan has played in all nine Süper Lig games for the Green Crocodiles this season.
