Arsenal star Mesut Özil believes his new fitness regime and diet plan will help prevent future injuries.

The World Cup winner missed three months with injury after sustaining a blow to his knee in October.

“I underwent treatment to get myself fit as soon as possible and to prevent the injury from returning. I’m on a good path now,” Özil told the official Arsenal website.
