Galatasaray forward Goran Pandev has signed a pre-contract agreement with Serie A outfit Genoa according to Corriere Mercantile.

The 31-year-old forward is reported to have agreed to a two-year deal with Genoa but Galatasaray are yet to release a statement regarding the transfer rumour.

Pandev was closely linked with Genoa over the winter transfer window but the deal fell through.

The Macedonian international has struggled for playing time at Galatasaray this season.

Pandev joined Galatasaray on a free transfer from Napoli in the summer.

The Macedonian international currently ears €2.4 million per season at the Lions.

Pandev struggled for playing time under former manager Cesare Prandelli however, Hamza Hamzaoğlu has been keen to keep the Macedonian international at the club.

The 31-year-old has scored five and provided one assist in 12 appearances for the Turkish giants this season.

Galatasaray are currently first in the Süper Lig on 51 points after 22 games and face third place Fenerbahçe in the Intercontinental derby next.
