£20m Germany international Ilkay Gundogan returns to Man City after lengthy absence
Germany international midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has taken to social media after returning to first team training.
The midfield playmaker has been sidelined since last December following a knee injury.
Gundogan missed the second half of the 2016/17 season but is back ahead of next term.
The former Borussia Dortmund man revealed that he is happy to be back and shared the following caption alongside a photo of himself in training. “How it feels to be back with the team.”

Gundogan made the move to Manchester City from Dortmund for £20 million back in July 2016 (BBC).
The 26-year-old made just ten apperances for City last term and missed a total of 30 games for the Manchester giants.
