Man City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has issued an injury update via social media.
The 26-year-old midfielder is recovering from a knee injury he suffered back in December. Gundogan has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
Gundogan has kept fans regularly updated during his rehabilitation progress though Instagram and Twitter.
The former Borussia Dortmund star shared a photo of himself while working out in the gym. Gundogan included the following caption, “Focus. Keep working and progress will come.”
The 26-year-old made the move to Man City from the Bundesliga giants Dortmund for £20m (BBC) at the beginning of the season.
