(Photo) £42m Arsenal star sets Premier League record after racking up 41 assists
Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has set an assist record since joining the Gunners.
The 28-year-old made the move to north London following a £42 million move from Real Madrid (BBC).
Arsenal shared a photo of Ozil on their Instagram account and included the following caption: “41 assists since his Premier League debut – five more than any other Premier League player in that time”
Ozil provided an assist during Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Sunderland on Tuesday night.
The Gunners need to win this weekend if they are to stand a chance of a top-four finish.
