Turkish international star Arda Turan has revealed that he cannot wait to start playing for Barcelona after a six-month wait.
Turan shared a picture on his Instagram alongside a caption that read: “Just a month left now god willing.”
The bearded winger joined the reigning La Liga champions from Atletico Madrid on a five-year deal over the summer transfer window.
Turan has been unable to play for Barcelona due to the FIFA transfer ban currently imposed to the club which restricts the reigning Champions League title holders.
Barcelona were unable to register new players signed over the summer as a result of the ban but will be able to play the 28-year-old in January.
Turan is expected to make his debut in January against Granada in the Camp Nou but will miss Barcelona’s Champions League first-leg tie in February due to still being suspended from last season when he was sent off in the quarter-finals against Real Madrid.
