Barcelona star Arda Turan missed out on his side making history yesterday against Valencia. The draw in the Copa del Rey extended Barca’s unbeaten run to an unprecedented 29 games.
Turan was rested along with several habitual starters including Bravo, Piqué, Sergio, Alves, Arda, Iniesta, Suárez, Messi, Neymar, Mascherano and Alba.
The day off gave the bearded winger plenty of time to wish his pals happy birthday. After sending his best wishes to former Atletico Madrid teammate Falcao he sent a shout out to his fellow Turkish national international Selçuk Inan.
Turan tweeted ‘happy birthday captain’ to the Galatasaray star on his official Twitter account.

Inan is both the captain of the Turkish national team and Galatasaray side. The 31-year-old played a key role in the Crescent-Stars booking a place in the European Championships with a last-gasp free-kick goal against Iceland in the final group stage game. The experienced midfielder also helped guide Galatasaray to the double last season.
