Arsenal fans visiting the official club website today were in for a surprise. Mesut Özil is currently featuring on a pop-up promoting the Gunners Christmas season merchandise.
Özil also recently promoted the Arsenal Christmas jumper that he described as being ‘nuts’ and urged all fans to wear it drawing a number of interesting responses on social media.

Özil is expected to start the Gunners against Greek giants Olympiakos today on Champions League Match Day 6.
The World Cup winner has been in great form recently providing 12 assists in his last 13 Premier league games but he will need to be at his best in Greece tonight.
The Gunners desperately need a win if they are to book a place in the Champions League Last 16. Arsenal have reached the second round of the competition for the last 15 seasons.
