(Photo) Arsenal playmaker reaches out to Bundesliga club on social media
Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has reached out to his former club Schalke 04 via social media.
The Bundesliga side posted a tweet to mark the 11th anniversary of Ozil’s debut for Schalke 04.

Ozil responded via Twitter, stating the he will never forget his debut for Schalke and wished them well ahead of the new season.

Ozil played a starring role during Arsenal’s emphatic 4-3 victory over Leicester City on Friday night.

However, the 28-year-old’ future at Arsenal is currently in doubt. Ozil has under 12 months remaining on his contract with the Gunners.
Arsenal take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium next weekend.
