Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to thank all the players and clubs which wished him a happy birthday.
The Germany international turned 29 over the weekend and was greeted with birthday messages from Jerome Boateng, Mustafi, Walcott, Rudiger, Gundogan, Xhaka, Gabriel, Berkay Ozcan, Sami Khadira, Mario Gotze, Sane, Emre Can and Elneny.
Arsenal as well as Ozil’s former clubs Schalke 04 and Weder Bremen also wished him a happy birthday.

Ozil came on in the second half during Arsenal’s defeat at the hands of Watford FC on Saturday. The Gunners take on Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League on Thursday night.
