(Photo) Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil reaches out to Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos over social media

Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has reached out to his former teammate Sergio Ramos over social media.

The pair played together during Ozil’s three year spell at the Madrid based club.

Ozil heaped praise on Ramos saying that he is ‘one of the greatest characters’ he has ever met.

The 28-year-old also praised Ramos’ goalscoring ability. The Spain international has a habit of scoring crucial headed goals from set peices.

Ozil shared a photo of the duo together while at Madrid and included the following caption, “All the best to my bro Sergio Ramos. One of the greatest characters I’ve ever met – on and off the pitch. #KeepItUp #legend #goalgetter #amigo”

Ozil’s future at Arsenal has been called into doubt after he stalled on a new contract. The Germany international’s current deal expires in just over 12 months.
