Barcelona star Arda Turan may be unable to participate in the World Club Cup in Japan but Luis Enrique decided to bring him along for the ride because well because he can we guess.
The Turkish international winger is unable to play until January despite joining on a five-year deal from Atletico Madrid over the summer due to the FIFA transfer ban currently in place.
Turan has used the opportunity to train with the team and keep his social media followers updated with his latest adventures.
The bearded winger also got to meet Microsoft founder and richest man in the world Bill Gates – an opportunity that was naturally shared on Instagram.
Turan also added the following caption: “It was an honour to meet and hear the the thoughts of Bill Gates.”
Barcelona will attend an event today held between the FC Barcelona Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Tokyo at 6.30pm today.
The World Club Cup is a tournament held between the champion clubs from each of the six continental confederations, as well as the national league champion from the host country – Japan.
