Barcelona star Arda Turan enjoyed his winter break opening his new restaurant ‘Arşiv’ meeting family and also had a meal with Turkish national team coach Fatih Terim.
Terim has a long history with Turan coaching the bearded winger from his days at Galatasaray to the current Crescent-Stars national team setup.
The Turkish national team head coach has used Turan 10 out of his last 11 games and Turkey have not lost a single of those games in which he has started – the Crescent Stars are actually unbeaten in their last 11 matches.
Turkey had a 2.5 percent chance of booking a direct place in the European Championships going into the Czech Republic game however, successive wins against the Czech’s, Iceland and Spain ensured the Crescent Stars a ticket to France against all the odds.
Turan is almost certain to make the Turkey squad going into the European Championships in France this summer but has yet to make his debut for Barcelona.
The bearded winger is expected to make his debut for the reigning La Liga champions against Espanyol in the Spanish Cup next week.
