Barcelona star Arda Turan has been featured on the front page of GQ Magazine in Turkey as the ‘Man of the Year’.
Turan shared a picture on his Instagram of the front cover alongside the caption: “Happy to share the latest cover of GQ magazine. Deeply honered for being selected as the “man of the year” for 2015.”
The 28-year-old winger became the third Turkish player to join Barcelona when he signed a five-year deal over the summer transfer window.
Turan has however, been unable to play for his new club due to the FIFA transfer ban that has been imposed on the club.
Barcelona were able to sign new players over the summer but were unable to register them due to the ban meaning Turan has not even been able to feature in friendly games for the club.
Turan is an iconic figure in Turkey and one of the most successful players to leave the country and play abroad. The Turkish international has won almost every trophy at club level but did play in the Champions League final at Atleti.
