Photo: ‘Good Start’ – Liverpool star pleased with Confederations Cup start despite not starting
Germany kicked off their Confederations Cup campaign with a 3-2 victory over Australia in Sochi, Russia.
Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can took to Instagram after the game sharing a picture alongside a caption which read: ‘The First 3 Points.’
The central midfielder of Turkish origin also revealed that he thought it was a ‘good start’.
The 23-year-old was pleased with the result but did not manage to get into the starting line-up.
The decision to bench Can came as a surprise as Joachim Low did not call up a full strength squad for the tournament.

Germany take on Chile next in the Confederations Cup Group B on Thursday 22 June.
