Several experinced names including Arda Turan have been omitted from the Turkish national team for their friendly games agaisnt Russian and Croatia next week.
Manager Fatih Terim is once again expected to deploy a 4-2-3-1 formation with Dortmund’s wonder-kid winger Emre Mor on the right wing.
Turan is Terim’s highest profile omission however, it is understood that the 29-year-old is being rested after only recently returning to full fitness for Barcelona.
