Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can looks set to bag the award for the vainest social media post of the year.

The 23-year-old shared three black-and-white photos of himself on Instagram stating that “it is always special to be on the cover of a magazine”

Furthermore, in one of the photo’s Emre Can is wearing a denim jacket with a picture of himself on the back

To be fair to the in-form midfielder, the funds raised from the project Can is part of will be going to charity.

The Germany international included the following caption alongside his images, “It is always special to be on the cover of a magazine. Not because I can’t get enough of myself :).

“But because as a small kid I had certain goals and it is an honour to be on the cover of one of the leading fashion magazines.

“Thanks @sportswear_international and especially because we do something good with the auction! The money will go to charity projects.”
