Man City team news: £20m Ilkay Gundogan continues road to recovery in New York
Man City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has resumed his rehabilitation during his drip to New York.
The 26-year-old has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering a knee injury back in December.
Gundogan took to social media to share a photo of himself in the gym and included the following caption, “No matter where – getting stronger everyday!”
Man City were held to a 1-1 draw over the weekend by Liverpool and face Arsenal in their next Premier League fixture.
Gundogan provided two assists and scored five goals in 16 apperances for City before his injury.
