Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to react to the victory over Bayern Munich.
The Gunners defeated the Bundesliga champions after a penalty shootout. The game ended 1-1 after 90 minutes.
Ozil played 45 minutes before being withdrawn but was unable to register an assist or goal. New Arsenal signing Alexandre Lacazette also featured in the first half for the North London-based club.
The 28-year-old shared a photo of himself from the game and included the following caption, “3:2 win on penalties against Bayern Munich. Well done lads.”
