Tough tackling Mesut Ozil star matches his Arsenal record
Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil played a staring role during the Gunners victory over Middlesborough.
The Germany international scored Arsenal’s winning goal mid-way though the second half.
However, Ozil did not only contribute in attack, he also put on an impressive defensive display.
Ozil equalled his record for the most tackles in a game.
According to Opta statistics, the 28-year-old made four tackles against Middlesborough, matching the most tackles he has ever pulled off in a single Premier League game.

Arsenal take on Manchester City at the Emirates next weekend in the FA Cup semi-final as they look to record back-to-back wins.
The Gunners hold the record for the most FA Cup wins, with 12.
Ozil has himself lifted the FA Cup twice during his time at the North London based outfit.
City head into the game following two consecutive wins. Pep Guardiola’s side have won four of their last six games away from home.
Ozil has now scored 11 goals and provided 11 assists in 35 apperances for Arsenal this season.
