Manchester United striker Robin van Persie will travel to Istanbul, Turkey 12:30 GMT and arrive at 19:30 GMT to complete his move to Fenerbahçe.
As reported by Turkish-football.com’s Emre Sarıgül and the Guardian’s Marcus Christenson on Thursday Fenerbahçe have reached an agreement with Van Persie and United.
The United star will travel on a private jet provided by Fenerbahçe and land at the Sabiha Gökçen airport.
Van Persie will become the second United player to join the Istanbul giants this week following the transfer of Luis Nani.
The Portuguese intentional was welcomed by over 1000 fans at the airport and an even larger turnout is expected for Van Persie tomorrow.
Nani arrived in Istanbul last Sunday and signed a three-year deal for a £4.3 million transfer fee at his signing ceremony held at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium.
Van Persie is also arriving on a Sunday and is expected to have his signing ceremony in-front of the fans at the stadium as well.
The 31-year-old striker is set to join on a £4.7 million move on a three-year deal.
