‘Please don’t be true’ – Arsenal fans react to reports that Barcelona star could be signed as a replacement for Mesut Ozil
Arsenal have been closely linked with a move for Barcelona star Arda Turan over the past season.
Barcelona are planning to offer Turan as part of a swap deal for Mesut Ozil according to the Sun.
Turan’s agent Ahmet Bulut meanhwile confirmed that he is in talks with four clubs and that there is a Premier League side among the interested parties.
“I have been in talks with four clubs, everything will be sorted in 15 days,” Bulut was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.
“Turan will either be loaned out or sold, there are offers from the Premier League, Spain and Italy.”

Turan was also spotted in London along with Bulut over the weekend.
Not everyone was convinced that Ahmet Bulut is his agent, some thought it was actually Jamie Oliver. See the resemblance?

There is also talk of Turan replacing Ozil which does not sound like the greatest idea if I am to be perfectly honest.

Well those are the stats. Turan’s goal and assist ratio is actually pretty good.
In the 15/16 season we wanted Turan & he signed for Barça mocking us by stating he may have come had he not been good enough for them.
Since then he has played 55 games for Barça in all comps starting only 17 & hasn’t set foot on a pitch for them this season.
