Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski celebrated scoring his brace against Galatasaray with Aaron Ramsey after the game.

The Gunners won the match 4-1 to secure entry into the Champions League Last 16 in second place.

Podolski opened the scoring on 3 minutes with a powerful shot that almost ripped the net.

The German international scored his second just before the final whistle, slotting the ball behind goalkeeper Sinan Bolat.

Podolski shared an image on his Instagram account posing with Ramsey who also scored a brace with the caption, “2 goals each for me & Rambo! Great win, told you we would bring the points back to London! Thanks fans for support… #AFC #ChampionsLeague #Rambo #Poldi #aha.”

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger praised Podolski for his contribution following the game and admitted the German international could start playing more regular first-team football.

“It is a competition for places that is difficult. I had Welbeck, Sanchez and Giroud at home and you can only play a certain number of strikers. He came back later from the World Cup but he is now coming back to a very strong level,” Wenger said.

Podolski now has three Champions League goals in just 131 minutes of European competition football.
