Porto linked with Man City target Pedro Franco

Porto are set to make a move for Beşiktaş defender Pedro Franco according to A Bola.

The report states that Porto have been keeping tabs on the 23-year-old defender and are keen on signing him over the summer.

Porto could face competition for his signature as Manchester City have also been linked with Franco by HaberTurk.

Franco is on international duty with the Colombia national team at the Copa America in Chile.

Colombia finished Group B in third place but qualified for the next round as one of the two best third placed sides.

Franco joined besiktas in July 2013 for €1.5 from the Colombian club Millonarios FC. The 24-year-old has made a total of 37 appearances for Besiktas in all competitions this season.

The Istanbul giants finished the league in third place and will play in the Europa League group stages next season.

Beşiktaş are coached by former Turkish national team coach Şenol Güneş.
