Tottenham target Bruma Man United transfer news Man United scout

Portugal star winger Bruma wants a Manchester United move according to Galatasaray sporting director Levent Nazifoğlu.

“Bruma aims to play for Manchester United but if he wants to, he must change certain things,” Nazifoğlu was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.com.

Bruma has been in great form for Galatasaray this season but Igor Tudor dropped the 22-year-old in his first chance in charge against Caykur Rizespor on Saturday 17 February.

The 22-year-old has seven goals and eight assists in all competitions for the Istanbul giants this season.

Bruma was a first team regular under former manager Jan Olde Riekerink but it remains to be seen whether he will keep his place in the side under Tudor.

United have been linked with Bruma in the past and a source close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football.com that the Red Devils have been scouting the winger, along with Tottenham.

The Portuguese winger impressed Jose Mourinho during the Lions pre-season friendly against United.

United ended up winning the game 5-2 but Bruma scored.

Following the game Mourinho requested a meeting with the Portuguese winger.

“He congratulated me for the performance and said he was impressed with me,” Bruma was quoted as saying by Turkish-football.com.

“He promised to closely monitor my work and said I could play for the national team soon.

Bruma has just 18-months remaining on his current contract and Galatasaray have yet to reach an agreement with his agent regarding an extension.

The Lions want to include a €20 million release clause option which reflects their current valuation but have yet strike a deal.

Galatasaray are currently locked in the title race, third in the Turkish league behind leaders Besiktas and second-placed Basaksehir.
