Galatasaray manager Cesare Prandelli has questioned the amount of penalties Fenerbahce receive in the Turkish Super League.
Prandelli was speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of Galatasaray’s clash with Trabzonspor on Saturday.
The former Italy national team manager said, “It seems to me that Fenerbahce receive far too many penalties.”
Prandelli also spoke about plans to reduce the size of Galatasaray’s squad. “Before we make any plans regarding signing new players, we have to reduce the size of our squad.
“Once we have done that I will speak with the President about transfers.
“We are yet to finalise a list of players who will leave. It’s hard to keep everybody happy when there are 32 players in a squad but we will solve this issue in January.”
The Lions currently find themselves in second place in the league with 19 points from nine games.
Galatasaray host Trabzonspor at the Turk Telekom Arena on Saturday at 17:00 GMT.
