Arsenal fans have voted Aaron Ramsey’s long range missile of a striker against Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League group stages as being their goal of the season.
The goal won 48 percent of the vote and ended up being the clear winner out of a possible a choice of 10 on the official Arsenal website.
The Gunners ended up putting four past Galatasaray home and away in the group stages.
The Lions disastrous Champions League campaign saw them ship in 19 goals and pick up just one point from six games.
The Champions League debacle resulted in former Italian national team manager Cesare Prandelli losing his job in November.
Prandelli was replaced by Hamza Hamzaoğlu who turned the Istanbul giants fortunes around and ended up winning the league title for a record 20th time and the Turkish Cup for the Lions sixth double.
Galatasaray will be wearing the fourth star on their shirts in next seasons Champions League group stages where they could end up drawing the Gunners again.
