Real Madrid legend Guti Hernandez believes that Beşiktaş will make it past Club Brugge in the Europa League Last 16.

The Black Eagles lost the first leg 2-1 in Belgium but will play the second leg in Istanbul next Thursday at the Atatürk Olympic stadium.

“Beşiktaş lost the first game but got an away goal and I think they will make it past Club Brugge,” Guti told Radyospor.

Guti also underlined that he believes Beşiktaş are playing the best football in Turkey.

“Beşiktaş are playing the best football in Turkey, they have been great in Europe and I have been really impressed with their playing style,” he added.

Guti joined Beşiktaş after spending 25 years at Real Madrid. The Black Eagles were the only team outside of Madrid the former Spanish international ever played for.

The 38-year-old lifted the Turkish Cup during his time playing for the Turkish giants.

The former Spanish international won five La Liga titles and three Champions League during his time at Real Madrid and achieved legendary status at the club.

Beşiktaş lost their first European game against Belgium opposition yesterday against Club Brugge in the Last 16 first leg.

The Eagles have not however, lost at the Atatürk Olympic stadium in European competition this season.
