Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to win every training game says Arsenal star

Mesut Ozil has spoken about his time training alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid during an interview with the French outlet L’Equipe.

The 27-year-old stated that Ronaldo has a hunger to win every game, even during training sessions.

Ozil also revealed that Ronaldo is always hungry for success and that his endless quest for more silverware is unique.

“During the time I played alongside Ronaldo [at Real Madrid], I saw that he always wanted to win everything, even on the training pitch,” Ozil told L’Equipe.

“He is never satisfied and always wants more. He always wants more titles and there are not a lot of players with that attitude.”

Ozil played alongside Ronaldo while at Real Madrid and the duo are also present at this summers Euro 2016 tournament. Ronaldo has two goals in four games and awaits Wales in the Semi finals.

The Arsenal star is once again expected to start tonight when Germany take on Italy in the quarter finals. Ozil has stated all four games so far and provided an assist for his sides second goal against the Ukraine in their opening game.
