The Spanish side Real Sociedad have been linked with the out-of-favour striker Emmanuel Emenike.

Emenike is currently on a season long loan at West Ham United from Fenerbahce but has failed to impress since making the move.

The Spanish outlet Espiritu Deportivo has claimed that the Real Sociedad are looking into the possibility of signing Emenike on the cheap.

Emenike has a total of two-goals in all competitions for West Ham since joining on a temporary move from Fenerbahce.

The 28-year-old is yet to score a single goal in the Premier League and has lost his place in West Ham’s starting line-up following the return of Andy Carroll.

West Ham have a buy-out option to sign Emenike at the end of the season but Slaven Bilic has remained coy on whether he will push the board to active the clause in his contract.
