ESPN recently reported that Barcelona want £26 million for Turan that and Arsenal are reported to have expressed a keen interest.

Turan’s agent Ahmet Bulut has responded to the latest speculation.

Bulut underlined that their priority remains Turan staying at the club next season and that he has not been in talks with any other clubs.

He also revealed that he is not aware of the club transfer listing his client.

The agent did however, put the ball in Barcelona’s court underlining that the club will have to make a decision regarding their plans.

“At this moment in time, nobody at Barcelona has put themselves in touch with me to say that Arda [Turan] is transferable,” he said in an interview on Cadena Cope radio station.

“As such, our current plan is for him to stay for next season.

“He has three more years on his contract and is happy at Barcelona.

“It’s true that last season wasn’t an easy season for him, because he suffered injuries and the second half didn’t go well, but he is happy.

“He likes the choice of Ernesto Valverde because of his career path and because of what he’s like as a coach.

“At this moment, I haven’t spoken with any club in the world, but if Barcelona say that he isn’t in their plans then it’ll be a different story.”

Turan does have another three-years remaining on his contract.

The 30-year-old scored 13 times and provided seven assists in all competitions this season.
