Revealed: Arsenal star Jack Wilshere strikes transfer deal as he wants to play abroad

Arsenal star Jack Wilshere has struck a transfer deal with Fenerbahce because he wants to play abroad according to reports in Turkey.

The Fanatik sports newspaper claim Wilshere has reached an agreement with the Yellow Canaries.

Per the source, Wilshere wants to try his luck abroad and feels he needs a fresh start.

The England international feels Fenerbahce will offer him the platform to get his career back on track.

Despite the newspaper reporting that Wilshere will join Fenerbahce neither the Istanbul giants nor Arsenal have confirmed the deal.

Turkish-Football asked a source close to Fenerbahce whether Wilshere has agreed terms with the club.

The source revealed that there have been talks but that he could not confirm whether a deal was in place.

Wilshere was expected to leave Arsenal over the summer and two other Super Lig clubs were in talks with the midfielder.

Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta confirmed entering talks with the 25-year-old during the summer transfer window.

Usta told Turkish-Football“I held direct talks with Jack Wilshere.

“We wanted him on loan and were close to a deal but the move stalled at the last moment.”

Meanwhile Antalyaspor club president Ali Safak Ozturk confirmed talks with the England international over a summer move.

“We made an enquiry and are in talks but Arsenal want a lot for Wilshere,” Ozturk was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.

“It will be a difficult move to pull off.”
