Omeruo spent last season on loan at Turkish minnows Alanyaspor.

Despite joining Chelsea in 2012 Omeruo has actually never played for the Premier League champions.

The centre-back has played just one Chelsea U23 game since joining the club.

The Nigerian international has never played a Premier League game either.

The powerful defender has enjoyed four loan stints at Den Haag, Middlesbrough, Kasimpasa and Alanyaspor.

Omeruo scored once in 26 appearances on loan for Alanyaspor in all competitions last season, playing an important role in his side achieving their target of avoiding relegation.
