Revealed: Just one club scored more than a single goal against Man United in Europe this season
Manchester United won the Europa League for the first time after beating Ajax 2-0 in the final.
Paul Pogba and Mkhitaryan scored for the Red Devils to win the game in Stockholm, Sweden.
The victory ensured that United book a place in next seasons Champions League final.
United managed to add to a pretty impressive defensive record after keeping another clean sheet in the final, their ninth in total in the competition.
The Premier League giants conceded just eight goals in 15 Europa League matches this season.
In fact just one team managed to score more than a single goal in a game against Man United in Europe this season and that was none other than Fenerbahce.
The Istanbul giants beat the Red Devils 2-1 at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium – and to be honest they could have scored more.
Moussa Sow and Jeremain Lens scored the goals in the memorable victory.
We would be shocked if Sow’s goal doesn’t make the shortlist for Europa League goal of the season.
