Rizespor deserve to be higher up the table says Obraniak [divider]
Rizespor do not deserve to be in a relegation scrap according to January signing Obraniak.
The Black Sea based side are currently only one point above the relegation zone in 15th place.
“We have played well over recent weeks and do not deserve to be in this position, we have a very good manager and I do not believe we will go down,” Obraniak was quoted as saying by Eurosport TR.
The Polish international joined Werder from Bordeaux last January but has struggled for playing time this season making only three appearances for the Bundesliga outfit.
Obraniak joined Rizespor on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old has one goal and three assists in 11 games for Rizespor this season.
Obraniak has six goals in 34 international games for the Polish national team.
Rizespor take on last placed Balıkesirspor away from home next in the Süper Lig. The Black Sea based side will move four points clear of the drop zone with a win.
