Rizespor v Besiktas: Full Match Preview

Sunderland transfer news

Besiktas take on Rizespor at the Caykur Didi stadium hoping to overtake league leaders Fenerbahce.

The Black Eagles have been in great form having lost just one of their last 10 league games and that was against current first placed side Fenerbahce.

Rizespor will be without Dhurgam Ismail and Ümit Korkmaz but will miss top scorer Leonard Kweuke the most and will have to make do without him until the end of the season.

The Black Sea based side actually have a pretty good record against Besiktas having won six and lost seven times but have recorded just one win in their last seven league matches.

Besiktas will be without Rhodolfo who is out until the end of the season and Gokhan Tore has been sidelined due to injury.

The Black Eagles will however, be able to count on Mario Gomez who is currently the leading goalscorer in the league with 18 goals.

Rizespor have a decent record against Besiktas but will struggle to cope against the Eagles with so many key players missing.

Prediction: Besiktas Win
