Robbie Savage claims Arsenal are not ‘good team’ with Mesut Ozil comments

Arsenal team news

Robbie Savage trolled Arsenal at the Facebook Football Awards after claiming that the north London based outfit are not a ‘good team’.

Savage lavished praise on Ozil but stated that the World Cup winner would have been even more successful  at another club.

“He has got 18 assists. Could you imagine if he was playing in a good team? He has been brilliant this season,” Savage said at the 2016 Facebook Football Awards.

Ozil will not be able to match Thierry Henry’s club record of 20 assists in a single league season as he is expected to miss the last few games with injury.

The Germany international of Turkish origin has however, setup more goals than any other player in the league this season.

Ozil has been one of the standout players for Arsenal in what has otherwise been a disappointing season.

Arsenal will however, end the season without any silverware after two consecutive campaigns lifting the FA Cup.

The Gunners take on Aston Villa in their final Premier League game of the season.
