Roberto Carlos appointed as Al Arabi manager

Roberto Carlos has been appointed as manager of Al Arabi after parting company with Akhisar Belediyespor earlier this week.

The former Brazilian international confirmed the move to ESPN Brazil.

The World Cup winner was appointed Akhisar manager in December and took the team out of the relegation zone into league safety but Carlos revealed that he was disappointed with his sides performance this season.

Akhisar finished the season in 12th place with 38 points in 34 games.

“I am not pleased with finishing 12th, it does not suit us to finish the league in this position, we have to do better,” Carlos was quoted as saying by Eurosport TR.
