Roberto Carlos denies resignation following Başakşehir loss [divider]
Roberto Carlos has denied rumours that he will resign as Sivasspor manager following their 2-0 loss against Başakşehir.
“Our fans have always been behind us,” Carlos said.
“We are actually playing well but the results have been very poor.
“I would be betraying the club if I was to resign now when things are not going well.
“We still have a mission, we can still turn the season around, it may look tough now but there is still a long way to go.
“We are going through a tough period and need to make a few transfers in January but things will change.
“The team is working hard in training and I am certain that the fans will see better days.”
Sivasspor dropped into 17th place following the loss. The Yiğidolar face a tricky away trip against Kasımpaşa next.
