Roberto Carlos – ‘I wanted to get on the pitch and start playing’ [divider]
Sivasspor manager Roberto Carlos revealed that he was so frustrated with his sides performance against Fenerbahçe that he wanted to get on the pitch and play.
“We created our own problems,” Carlos said.
“The team did not try nearly hard enough, we made simple mistakes, the players did not really take the game seriously at all.
“It was so frustrating, I wanted to get on the field and play that is how bad it was.
“This is all we were capable of, we simply were not good enough.
“I am planning to make major changes during the transfer window, some players are going to go, this is unacceptable now, I cannot accept these errors being made so consistently”
Fenerbahçe won the game 4-1 to move into first place in the Süper Lig.
Sivasspor remain in 16th place following the loss but will drop into 17th position if Rizespor win or draw against Trabzonspor.
