Roberto Carlos resigns as Sivasspor manager

Roberto Carlos has resigned as Sivasspor manager following his sides 2-0 defeat at home against Istanbul Başakşehir.

Sivasspor also suffered a humiliating defeat  at the hands of PTT 3. Lig outfit Tuzlaspor in the Turkish Cup during the week.

The 41-year-old manager handed in his resignation following Saturdays defeat.

Sivasspor are currently in 17. spot with just ten points from 14 games.

Carlos joined Sivasspor in 2013 and lead his side to an impressive fifth place finish.

The former Gaziantepspor manage Sergen Yalcin is expected to be appointed as Sivasspor’s new manager.
