Roma will face Spanish giants Real Madrid in the Champions League Last 16 following the draw that took place in the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzterland.
Turkish international Salih Uçan has struggled for playing time this season and there are rumours that he could leave on loan this January.
Uçan spent last season on loan at the Italian giants but struggled for playing time due to injury problems. The 21-year-old suffered four injury blows over the past season.
Roma agreed to a two-year loan option last season with a buyout clause option that they can activate this season.
The Italian giants qualified to the Last 16 after holding BATE to a goalless draw as Barcelona drew against Bayer Leverkusen in the other group game.
Real Madrid qualified for the Last 16 in first place from Group A with 15 points.
