Sahan – ‘We want to write history’ [divider]
Olcay Şahan believes that Beşiktaş will write history and become the first Turkish side to win the league title without playing a single home game.

“We have 35 points and have not played a single home game, we have played a match every three games, one week we are in Greece the next in Istanbul then two days later in Konya,” Şahan told Lig Tv.
“To be in the position we are now considering all that we have gone through is a major achievement.
“We will write history if we win the league this season, it does not matter anymore whether we play at home or away as we know what it takes to win.”
The İnönü stadium is currently being rebuilt which has forced Beşiktaş to play in different stadiums across Turkey this season.
Beşiktaş are currently second on 35 points after 16 games. The Black Eagles trail reigning champions Fenerbahçe by a single point.
