Yeşil joined Liverpool from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, the same side Emre Can joined from in the summer.

The Reds signed Yeşil from Bayer for €1 million last season and he still has two-years left on his contract.

The 20-year-old missed much of last season with a double anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Yeşil ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament for the second time in a year in January 2014 while training at the Academy.
