San Jose Earthquakes striker Yannick Djalo could be on his way to the Turkish Super League according to a report in the Portugues press.

The sports paper O Jogo reported that Djalo could be headed to Russia or Turkey for his next stop, though no specific club is listed in the article.

The 28-year-old has performed well in the MLS this season however, his persistent injury problems led the San Jose coach Mark Watson to state that the team was frustrated with Djalo’s ability to stay fit.

Djalo has previously played for Sporting, Benfica and the French Ligue 1 side Toulouse.

The Portugues international striker made 18 league appearances with the San Jose Earthquakes, scoring three goals and adding two assist.
